As a surface treatment method for steel grating products, spray painting is cheaper than galvanized steel grating products and stainless steel grating products, and is also a steel grating product that suppliers prefer. So what should be paid attention to before the steel grating is sprayed with paint to ensure that the painted steel grating products have a longer service life?
How should the painted steel grating products be made?
First of all, the following tasks must be done before spraying
1. Select the steel grating products with paint;
2. Check the performance and color of the paint;
3. Stir the paint thoroughly;
4. Adjust the viscosity of the paint;
5. Purify and filter the paint;
6. Adjust the color of the paint;
Good weather is also one of the factors that must be paid attention to when spraying
Then, when spraying, the appropriate paint and appropriate viscosity should be selected according to the steel grating to be sprayed, and it should be determined according to the type of paint, air pressure, nozzle size and the required amount of the sprayed surface.
1. The nozzle diameter is 0.5mm-0.8mm;
2. The air pressure supplied to the spray gun is generally 0.3-0.6MPa;
3. The distance between the nozzle and the steel grating spray surface is generally 20-30cm;
4. The direction of the sprayed paint flow should be as perpendicular as possible to the surface of the steel grating manufacturer's product;
5. During operation, the edge of each spray strip should overlap the edge of the previously sprayed strip (preferably 1/3 overlap), and the movement speed of the spray gun should be kept uniform and consistent, not fast or slow.
Because the paint smell is relatively strong, when spraying, it should be arranged in a ventilated and open place to facilitate the paint to dry. When our technicians can strictly follow the above operating steps to spray the steel grating, they can guarantee the service life of the product to a greater extent and also ensure the appearance of the product.
